Annapurani goes to School
Annapurani has joined in Pre-KG at 'Pragma School', Madipakkam on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami(06.10.2011) in the presence of her Father Jagadish, Mother Sridevi, Grandma Meenakshi, Chithapa thatha Kumar, Perima Gayathri & Cousin Akshaya(Dharuna).
She began attending School for the first day by today(10.10.2011) at 09:15. Well, She was very confident of being independent at School and promised us she will not cry after we leave her from her School. But, she broke the promise briefly and started to weep like a small baby(She turns 3 by November 1st 2011). When we tried to console her, the headmaster of the school advised us to start almost immediately without looking back and asked us to come a bit later.
We had no choice and turned back swiftly thinking what she will be doing. We made a phone call by 10:00 to enquire about her current status. To our surprise, we were informed that Annapurani wept only for 5 minutes. She recoevered shortly and started playing and gliding and skating throught the school that her pure white dress became almost unidentifiable. Sridevi Jagadish went to pick up Annapurani and was well received with a loud exclamation from her. At that time, Sridevi noted a small girl named Priya still weeping and was consoled by Annapurani.
At the School Annapurani was taught some 'ABC's and given lot of play time. She made few friends there but unable to name them currently. Anyhow, Annapurani has been given some homework to read some rhymes and write some alphabets on her first day.
Later that day, Annapurani returned home with her mother and was recalling her first experience at School which would definitely be a memorable day for her. To make this more prominent I, Annapurani's Father Jagadish has compiled those collective experiences in the form of a blog to record this as a bit of modern history.
